Yellow weather alert issued for Uttarakhand in coming days
The weather in Uttarakhand is changing and the process of continuous rain and hailstorm continues in the mountainous districts. The Meteorological Department had issued an alert since early May in view of the weather in most of the districts of Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department had issued a yellow alert for today and tomorrow in the forecast. However, in view of the conditions that are forming in the state due to the deteriorating weather, the meteorological department has converted the yellow alert into orange alert.
The Meteorological Department has forecast rain and hailstorm in the mountainous districts of Uttarakhand today and tomorrow, in view of which the Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Alert in 13 districts of Uttarakhand today. Orange alert has been issued in these districts today and people living here need to be more careful. In these districts, along with the rain, there is a possibility of flashing of hail and celestial lightning. Snowfall can also occur in the higher reaches of the mountainous regions. In the plains districts, along with the rain, high velocity winds can also run at a speed of 40 km. Orange alert has also been issued in most of the districts of the state yesterday. In such a situation, one needs to be more careful today and tomorrow. It is expected that the weather may open in the state after tomorrow.
