Uttarakhand corona guidelines amended; shops to open for 3 days
In Uttarakhand, now during the curfew, the shop will open till 5:00 pm. These orders have been issued by the government. All business establishments will be open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, Friday and Monday from June 9 to June 14. However, during this period cinema halls, shopping malls, gyms, sports institutions, stadiums, playgrounds, swimming pools, amusement parks, theatres, auditoriums, bars and all activities related to these will remain closed till further orders. During the curfew period, on June 12 and 13, the civic body will run a sanitization program in all public places, residential areas, bus stands, railway stations, markets and vegetable markets.
Online delivery or home delivery of all services by Amazon, Flipkart, Blue Dart, DTDC, Myntra etc. is allowed under the e-commerce platform.
This time the government has revised the SOP thrice since extending the one-week corona curfew. Earlier, some relief was also given in the SOP issued on Monday, under which shops related to 20 businesses, including food packaging, were allowed to open from 8 am to 1 pm on June 8 and 11. Apart from this, in view of the convenience of traders, 24 hours loading, unloading of goods from goods carrier vehicles has been allowed in warehouses. Till now only night time was fixed for this.
