Uttarakhand corona update: 222 cases; 451 cured on 18 June
Today i.e. on 18 June, 222 people have been found corona positive in Uttarakhand. Along with this, within the last 24 hours, 4 people have died due to corona in the state. On the other hand, the good news is that 451 people have been cured of corona infection in the last 24 hours. So far 7017 people have died of corona in Uttarakhand.
According to today’s health bulletin, there are 3231 active cases in the state.The maximum number of cases were reported in Dehradun district. Dehradun 63 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. Along with this, 17 infected patients have been found in Almora district, 3 in Bageshwar district, 7 in Chamoli district, 8 in Champawat district, 46 in Haridwar district. While, 14 cases each have been reported in Nainital, Pauri district and Pithoragarh district, 12 cases in Rudraprayag district, 11 in Tehri district, 10 in Udham Singh Nagar and 3 in Uttarkashi district. However, if we look at the figures of the last two and a half months, the number of new corona patients has come down significantly as compared to earlier. Yesterday, 264 new infected cases were reported across the state.
So far, the total number of corona cases in the state has gone up to 3,38,288. Of these, 3,22,258 people have been cured. At the same time, the number of active cases has come down to 3231. So far 7017 people have lost their lives due to corona in the state.
