UTU to conduct final semester exams in online mode
Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technological University (UTU) will conduct the final year examination of all courses online. This decision was taken by the examination committee of the university in a virtual meeting held under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Dr. PP Dhyani on Saturday. Exam schedule will be announced soon.
After the meeting, Vice Chancellor Dr. PP Dhyani informed that the examinations of odd semesters of B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Pharma, M.Pharma, BHMCT, MBA, MBA Integrated, MCA, LLB, BA-LLB, LLM, B.A.C. Agriculture courses will be conducted in online mode. He said that preparations are being made for the examination by establishing coordination between engineering and other colleges affiliated to the university. Separate guidelines will be issued regarding the examination. He also informed that the online examination will be conducted live. The examination will be conducted under the supervision of the Invigilator and Center Superintendent of the institutes. He said that UTU would be the first university in the state whose online examination would be inspected live at the UTU headquarters. University Registrar RP Gupta, Examination Controller Dr. PK Arora, Finance Controller Kavita Nabiyal, Assistant Accounts Officer Surendra Chand Arya etc. were present in the virtual meeting.
