Dehradun district cricket trials from July 26 onwards

Under the aegis of Dehradun District Cricket Association, trials for all age groups will be held from July 26. The trial process will be held at Ayush Cricket Academy located in Chidderwala. The decision regarding this was taken in the meeting of the district union held on Monday. Union secretary Vijay Pratap Mall said that in case of bad weather, trials would be conducted in indoor nets.

In the meeting held on Monday, it was agreed to conduct trials in under-16, 19, 23 and senior categories. The trials will be conducted following the Covid safety guidelines issued by the BCCI and the Uttarakhand government. Vijay Pratap Mall said that the players of Dehradun district will be selected on the basis of trial. These players will also get a chance to participate in the zonal trials.

He said that all the players will have to compulsorily register offline to participate in the trial. Registration can be done from Tuesday at the Academy office located on the Raipur Road. He informed that the cricketers participating in the District Cricket League 2021-22 will not be charged registration fee, but they will be required to fill up the offline form and register
