Uttarakhand assembly session to begin from August 23

The Uttarakhand Assembly session will begin from August 23. Its notification has been issued on Monday. The Assembly Secretariat has started preparations for the session. Earlier, in the cabinet meeting, it was decided to hold the assembly session. In-charge secretary assembly Mukesh Singhal told that the assembly session will be started from 11 am on 23rd August. The assembly session will continue till August 27. After becoming the Chief Minister, this will be the first session for Pushkar Singh Dhami as the Leader of the House.

More than 575 questions arrived for the session

The questions of the members of the assembly for the assembly session have already started coming. The Assembly Secretariat had started asking questions to the members for the session. Under this, more than 575 questions have been received in the assembly so far.

It is necessary to do the session before 6th September

Under the legislative and parliamentary system, the assembly session should be convened at an interval of six months. Six months will be completed on 6th September. Recently, Assembly Speaker Premchand Agrawal had met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, in which he had talked about convening a session in six months.

The assembly session convened from August 23 may turn out to be a ruckus. Being an election year, the members of the ruling party and the opposition will raise the issues of their respective areas. The opposition will also lay siege to the government.

Within a span of six months, the political landscape of the state has changed. Now Pushkar Singh Dhami will be seen in the role of Leader of the House, while Pritam Singh will be seen taking the front in the role of Leader of Opposition.
