Heavy rain forecast for 7 districts in Uttarakhand

The weather gods show no signs of relenting in Devbhoomi. Incessant rains in the mountain have created a disaster-like situation in many districts. Rivers and rivers are in spate, which are becoming the cause of accidents. There have been incidents of cloudburst in many areas of the state, in which heavy casualties have occurred. Hundreds of roads are closed. Necessary goods are not reaching the villages. The problems have increased due to water logging in the plains. Meanwhile, according to the Meteorological Department, the period of heavy rains will continue in the state till September 8. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no change in the rainfall situation at present. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain with heavy showers at isolated places in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts on Sunday.

There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain with isolated showers in all the hill districts of the state on Monday and Tuesday. The rainy season will continue on 8th September as well. During this, there may be heavy rain in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh districts. In view of this, a yellow alert of heavy rain has been issued for September 8 as well. Apart from this, lightning is expected at some places in the mountainous areas.

Forecast for the next 24 hours is that, there may be heavy rain at isolated places in the capital Doon, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh. If you live in any of these districts, be especially alert. Avoid traveling to hilly areas in bad weather. Stay in safe places as much as possible. After the yellow alert of rain, the administration has also come into alert mode.
