Job fair held in Dehradun

Employment is the biggest need of the hour. Everyone knows this very well and the situation is also saying that unemployment is high in Uttarakhand. In such a situation, the state government gave opportunities to the unemployed youth of Uttarakhand to get employment. On the previous day, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Mega Employment job fair in Dehradun’s ITI campus. In this job fair, a total of 23 private companies organized employment fair to give jobs to the youth in their company. A total of 994 candidates participated in this job fair. Out of 994, 195 candidates were given job offer letter by the company on the spot and 86 candidates have been selected by the companies for the second round.

After being postponed three times, the job fair was finally organized by the Dehradun Regional Employment Department on Tuesday. Earlier the fair was organized in March. After about five months, a job fair was organized. To get jobs in the fair, a large number of youths came to get jobs. In this job fair, 23 private companies gave employment opportunities to the youth. 994 candidates participated to get jobs for about 400 posts. Giving information, Employment Officer Ajay Singh said that 23 companies working in sectors like Food, Pharma and Insurance selected the candidates in the employment fair. Offer letters have been given to 195 candidates by 23 companies. While 86 candidates will be selected for the second round of companies.
