Turkish Grand Prix 2021: First win of the season for Valtteri Bottas

Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas registered his first win of the current on Sunday, taking the top position at the Turkish Grand Prix.

Verstappen finished second

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen surpassed defending champion Lewis Hamilton in the Driver Standings 2021 to finish second.

5th position for Hamilton

Red Bull’s Sergio Perez was at number three, while Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc was fourth and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton at number 5.

Verstappen overtakes Hamilton

Before the Turkish Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton had a two-point lead in the 2021 driver standings but has now slipped to number two with a 6-point gap between him and Max Verstappen.

Bottas at number three in the table

Valtteri Bottas had earlier won the Russian Grand Prix in September last season. This driver of Mercedes has now got 177 points in the drivers points table and he is at number three.
