Uttarakhand corona update: 22 new case, 7 recover on 6th October
In Uttarakhand, 22 new corona infected have been found in the last 24 hours. At the same time, one patient has died. While seven patients were sent home after recovery. The number of active cases has increased to 163. While on Tuesday there were 149 active patients in the state.
According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department on 6th October, the investigation report of 15948 samples has come negative on Wednesday. Not a single infected patient has been found in four districts of Bageshwar, Chamoli, Tehri and Uttarkashi. At the same time, two infected patients have been found in Almora, Haridwar, Pauri and Pithoragarh, 10 in Dehradun, one each in Champawat, Nainital, Rudraprayag and Udham Singh Nagar.
So far, the total number of corona infected in the state has increased to 343618. Of these, 329953 people have been cured. A total of 7396 people have lost their lives due to corona in the state. The state’s recovery rate is 96.02 percent and infection rate is 0.14 percent.
Vaccination against covid: Mega drive will run every Monday
To achieve the target of second dose of vaccination against Covid in Dehradun district, now a grand campaign will be conducted every Monday. Under this, people will be vaccinated at more than 250 vaccination centers in the district.
