Uttarakhand corona update: 11 new cases found on 20 November
In Uttarakhand, not a single new corona patient was found in 11 districts including Nainital on Saturday. While a total of 11 new patients were found in two districts. Eight patients recovered after treatment, who were discharged from home isolation and hospitals. According to the bulletin of the Health Department, eight new infected were found in the capital Dehradun on Saturday while three in Haridwar.
Apart from this, no case of corona infection has been reported in any district. Around nine thousand samples were sent from various labs of the state for examination, while reports of nine thousand were received. The rate of corona infection in the state was 0.11 percent. While the recovery rate of patients is going on more than 96 percent. After the discharge of eight patients from various hospitals of the state, now the number of active patients has come down to 187.
The maximum number of 132 active patients are in Dehradun district alone. On Saturday, around 42 thousand people were vaccinated against Covid across the state. With this, the number of people taking both the doses has crossed 46 thousand. Even though a decrease in corona cases is being recorded, but the health department is not showing any laxity.
