Delhi government slashes corona testing rates

The Delhi government has issued a new rate list for the test regarding for coronavirus. According to the new rate list, now it has become cheaper to do corona test. RTPCR test will be done for Rs 300 from private laboratories. Whereas for conducting RTPCR from home, Rs 500 will have to be paid. While, the fee for rapid test has been fixed at Rs 100.

The Arvind Kejriwal led AP Agovernment of the Union Territory has given relief to the people for the corona test. Doing corona test has become cheaper now. The maximum price has been fixed at Rs 300 for RTPCR COVID-19 test in private laboratories and Rs 500 for RT-PCR samples collected from home. While there will be a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) for Rs 100.

On Thursday, 12,306 new cases of corona infection were reported in the capital Delhi, which is less than the figures on Wednesday. During the last 24 hours, 43 patients died, which is the highest number since June 10. However, with the decrease in cases, the infection rate has also come down to 21.48 percent, which was 23.86 percent a day earlier. At the same time, 18,815 people were cured of the infection today.

In the capital Delhi, now the active cases of corona virus infection have come down to 68,730. At the same time, till now a total of 16,66,039 patients have become corona free after recovering. With this, the death toll has gone up to 25,503 so far. Now the total number of infected in Delhi has increased to 17,60,272.
