Uttarakhand corona update: 1560 cases reported on January 8

According to the Health Bulletin Uttarakhand issued by the Health Department, so far the number of corona patients in Uttarakhand has reached 349472. Of these, 332173 people were discharged after recovering. Still 3254 cases are active in Uttarakhand. Today 1560 cases of corona were reported in Uttarakhand. According to the health report, today 537 cases were reported in Dehradun, 303 in Haridwar, 24 in Pauri, 20 in Uttarkashi, 28 in Tehri, 13 in Bageshwar, 404 in Nainital, 52 in Almora, 82 in Pithoragarh, 37 in Udham Singh Nagar, 06 in Rudraprayag, 46 people have been found positive in Champawat, 08 in Chamoli.

For the first time after the knock of Omicron, not only did the number of infected crossed 1500, but also the corona cases have almost doubled in a single day. According to the Health Bulletin issued on Saturday, 1560 new cases of corona were found in the state. With this, the infection rate reached 10.26 percent. A day earlier i.e. on Friday, 814 cases of corona were found in the state and the infection rate was 5.59 percent. However, it was a matter of relief that even after increasing the new cases, no corona infected person died.
