Lata Mangeshkar passes away aged 92
On Sunday, the country’s famous singer and vocalist Lata Mangeshkar said goodbye to the world. The whole country was in mourning after hearing the news of her death. The central government has declared two days of national mourning on the death of Bharat Ratna awardee Lata Mangeshkar. Can’t express sadness in words: PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that ‘I cannot express my sadness in words. The kind and affectionate Lata didi has left us. She has left a void in our country which cannot be filled. The generations to come will remember her as a stalwart of Indian culture, whose melodious voice had an unparalleled ability to mesmerize people.’
In Breach Candy, the team of doctors was treating Lata ji under the supervision of Dr. Pratat Samdhani. Improvement in his health was also seen during the treatment. She was kept under constant observation. About 5 days ago, her health also started improving. Oxygen was removed, but she was kept in the ICU, however, her health deteriorated since last evening and she died on Sunday at 8.12 am. Dr. Pratat told that multi-organ failure was the reason for her death.
