LPG to IMPS charges: Price changes from February 1

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget of 2022 in the Parliament on February 1. The budget was presented in paperless form due to the Covid-19 crisis. The budget will be available on the Union Budget Mobile App after it is presented in both the Houses of Parliament. Many more changes are going to happen today. For example, changes related to banking and finance.

SBI made IMPS expensive

State Bank of India (SBI) has increased the limit for money transactions through Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 5 lakh. However, the bank will charge a fee for the same. According to the SBI website, Rs 20 + GST ​​will be charged on IMPS transactions between Rs 2 lakh and Rs 5 lakh. For SBI IMPS transactions below Rs 2 lakh, the fee is zero.

Punjab National Bank EMI

Punjab National Bank (PNB) will impose a fine of Rs 250 for non-payment of EMI or other installment with effect from February 1, 2022. Earlier the amount of fine was Rs 100.

Bank Of Baroda Payment System

Changing its check payment rules from February 1, 2022, Bank of Baroda will make positive pay confirmation for payments mandatory for cheque payments. However, this change will be applicable only on cheque transactions above Rs 10 lakh.

LPG Cylinder Price

On the 1st and 15th of every month, Oil Marketing Companies update the LPG Cylinder Price in the country keeping in view the crude oil rates in the international markets. One can check the new rates before placing an order for a cylinder. However, the cylinder prices have not been updated today.
