Uttarakhand corona update: 144 cases found on 21 February

In Uttarakhand, after a month and a half, the least number of corona infected patients have been found in a day. 144 new infected have been found within the last 24 hours. While one patient has died, 50 patients have been cured. 1617 active patients are undergoing treatment. In the third wave, the number of infected has increased to 90133.

According to the Health Department, the investigation report of 9702 samples has come negative on Sunday. 144 people were found corona infected in 13 districts. 60 in Dehradun district, 22 in Haridwar, 16 in Chamoli, 10 in Pauri, 6 in Uttarkashi, 6 in Tehri, 5 in Nainital, 5 in Champawat, 4 in Udham Singh Nagar, 3 each in Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh, 2 cases each in Almora and Bageshwar have been found.

1617 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals and home isolation

A corona patient has died in the state. While 50 patients have been cured. By combining these, 85412 patients have defeated the infection. So far 253 patients have died in the third wave of Corona.

Now active cases are continuously decreasing due to more patients recovering than infected. At present 1617 active patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals and home isolation. The recovery rate of the state is 94.76 percent and the infection rate has been recorded at 1.48 percent on the basis of sample testing.
