Uttarakhand corona update: 12 new cases reported in last 24 hours

The threat of corona infection remains amongst us. Despite this, around 1500 samples are being tested in a day in the state. Within the last 24 hours, 12 new infected have been found, while 10 patients have been cured. In the third wave, the total number of infected has reached 93195.

At present the testing of samples is very less to prevent the spread of corona infection. On an average 1500 samples are being tested in a day in the state. According to the report of the Health Department, the investigation report of 1156 samples has come negative on Monday.

In five districts, 12 people were found to be corona infected. Seven infected have been found in Dehradun district, two in Haridwar, one each in Chamoli, Tehri and Rudraprayag districts. 10 infected have defeated Corona. Including these, 89459 patients have been cured so far. The number of cured patients is less as compared to the infected. Due to which the active cases have gone up to 160. There is no active case in Champawat and Pithoragarh districts.
