Uttarakhand corona update: 294 cases found on August 6

294 new corona infected have been found in 12 districts of the state on August 6 while 212 patients have been cured. The number of active cases has crossed 1900. The infection rate in the state is more than 12 percent. According to the Health Department, the investigation report of 2078 samples has come negative on Saturday. In which 294 people were found to be corona infected. Maximum 144 infected have been found in Dehradun district.

56 have been found in Nainital, 19 in Pauri and Rudraprayag, 16 in Haridwar, 15 in Almora, 11 in Udham Singh Nagar, 6 in Tehri, 3 in Pithoragarh, 2 each in Chamoli and Champawat districts, 1 in Bageshwar district. 212 infected have defeated Corona. Fewer patients are getting cured than the infected. Due to which the active cases have reached close to two thousand. Presently 1905 active patients are undergoing treatment. The state’s recovery rate was 94.24 percent and infection rate was 12.39 percent.
