Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of T20 World Cup 2022

Team India has suffered a major setback before the T20 World Cup. On Monday, the BCCI has officially announced that India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will not be a part of the upcoming T20 World Cup. The BCCI medical team at NCA, Bangalore is investigating the back injury of Jasprit Bumrah.

A few days ago news that came out, Jasprit Bumrah has suffered a back stress fracture. Now, BCCI has confirmed that Jasprit Bumrah will not be a part of Team India in the upcoming T20 World Cup.

According to the BCCI, which fast bowler will be included in the team as a replacement for Jasprit Bumrah in view of this tournament very soon, it will be informed. At present, he has been out of the three T20 series being played against South Africa.

Returning to Team India after injury, Jasprit Bumrah bowled brilliantly in the second T20 match against Australia. In this match, Bumrah bowled Australian captain Aaron Finch through a yorker. After this series, Bumrah’s back injury resurfaced before the three-match T20 series being played against South Africa.

Team India has included fast bowler Mohammad Siraj in place of Jasprit Bumrah in the team for the T20 series against South Africa. Earlier, Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid had expressed hope that Jasprit Bumrah could recover before the upcoming T20 World Cup.
