Uttarakhand weather update: Rains expected in the state from March 29

Weather remained cloudy in most of the cities in Uttarakhand on Tuesday. On the other hand, there is a possibility of cloudy and light rain at some places in the high peaks of Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar.

There was bright sunshine in most areas of the state for the past couple of days, during this, an increase of one to two degree Celsius was recorded in the temperature. Dehradun recorded maximum temperature of 28.8 and minimum temperature of 12.6 degree Celsius due to sunshine throughout the day.

During this, the maximum temperature of Mussoorie was 24.1 and the minimum temperature was 11.3 degree Celsius. In the afternoon only the high peaks of Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Bageshwar remained partly cloudy.

Western Disturbance will be active once again from Wednesday

Director of the Meteorological Center Bikram Singh said that on Monday and Tuesday, the weather will be open and sunny in most areas of the state. However, due to the activation of Western Disturbance once again from Wednesday, there may be light rain in some areas of the state, hailstorm and light snow in the high altitude areas.
