Gold becomes costlier before Akshaya Tritiya, silver reaches beyond ₹75,000

The festival of Akshaya Tritiya will be celebrated on April 22, 2023. Buying gold on this occasion is considered auspicious. At the same time, before Akshaya Tritiya, a rise in the prices of gold and silver has been registered in the Indian bullion market today, April 20, 2023. Amidst the strong global trend, 10 grams of gold became costlier in the bullion market on Thursday and reached Rs 60,340. Similarly, the price of one kg silver also recorded a jump and now it is being sold for Rs 75,450.

On Thursday, gold closed at Rs 60,340 per 10 grams with a gain of Rs 440 in the Delhi bullion market. In the last trading session, gold had closed at Rs 59,900 per 10 grams. Similarly, the price of silver also increased by Rs 850 to close at Rs 75,450 per kg.

Gold gains strength in foreign markets

In the overseas markets, both gold and silver were trading at $1,996 an ounce and $25.16 an ounce respectively.
