TCS Q4 2023 results: Company declares dividend of Rs 24 per share

IT sector company TCS has declared the results for Q4 2023. During the fourth quarter of the last financial year i.e. January-March, the company’s net profit increased by more than 12 percent to Rs 11,436 crore. 9,959 crore in the same quarter a year ago. At the same time, TCS also announced a final dividend of Rs 24 per share in the board meeting.

TCS’s fourth quarter income rose 16.9 percent to Rs 59,162 crore. 50,591 crore in the same quarter a year ago. The company said its operating margin expanded to 24.5 percent from 24.1 percent in the fourth quarter.

The company said K Krithivasan will formally take over as CEO and MD from June 1. He will replace Rajesh Gopinath.

Krithivasan was named to the post of CEO and Managing Director in mid-March. The company said it added a total of 821 employees during the last quarter. The number of employees of the company is more than five lakhs.
