Uttarakhand corona update: 108 new infected found in last 24 hours

On Friday, 108 new infected patients have been found in 10 districts of Uttarakhand, while one infected person admitted to Government Doon Medical College has died. The number of active patients has increased to 283 in the state.

According to the report of the Health Department, a total of 592 samples were tested in the state. Of these, 108 people have been found corona infected. Oout of which, 53 were found infected in Dehradun district, 17 in Nainital, 10 in Haridwar, 13 in Tehri, 6 in Pithoragarh, 4 in Pauri, 3 in Champawat, one each in Almora and Udham Singh Nagar districts. An infected has died in Doon Medical College.

75 patients have been cured as compared to the infected. At present there are total 283 active cases. Most of the patients in this are taking treatment in home isolation. In the last three and a half months, a total of 1004 infected have been found across the state. In this, 713 infected have recovered while eight corona infected patients have died.

Active cases in India go past 50000

The active cases of Corona in the country have crossed the figure of 50 thousand. In the last 24 hours, 10,753 new cases of corona have been registered in the country, while 27 people have died. Active cases increased to 53,720. Earlier, on September 4 last year, more than 50 thousand active cases were registered.

A day earlier i.e. on Thursday, 11,109 cases of infection were reported, while 29 people died. Apart from this, active cases had increased to 49,622.

According to the website of the Ministry of Health, the daily positivity rate has reached 4.42% and the weekly rate has reached 4.02%. The recovery rate is 98.69%. At the same time, the death rate was recorded at 1.19%. In the last 14 days i.e. from April 1 to 14, 89 thousand people have been infected in the country.
