Finally Google Wallet has also arrived in India. Google launched this digital wallet app in America in the year 2022. Now after two years this app can be used in India also. You can download it from Google Play Store. Google Wallet is a secure and confidential digital wallet that allows users to easily find and access their essentials in one place. In this you can keep your boarding pass, ticket and much more.

Google Wallet vs Google Pay?

Google Wallet will not be useful for making payments in India right now. According to Google, Google Wallet is actually a companion app to Google Pay. Google Pay will remain your payment app. According to the information available on Google Wallet website, it is a secure and private digital wallet where you can keep your important cards, tickets, passes and IDs. In simple language, Google Pay is the manager of your money and transactions, whereas Google Wallet works like your pocket to keep important things. The thing to note is that Google Pay currently uses NFC technology through which you can add any credit card, but currently this feature will not work in Google Wallet in India.
