Vedanata declares first interim dividend of Rs 18.50 per share for FY 23-24

Vedanta Dividend, a company led by billionaire businessman Anil Agarwal, has again announced dividend. The company has announced dividend this time for the financial year 2023-24. In the information given to the stock markets, it has been told by Vedanta that a dividend of 1850% will be given on a share with a face value of Rs 1. That is, investors will get a dividend amount of Rs 18.50 on every share held. On Monday, the company’s shares were trading at a level of Rs 287.50 with a gain of 1.97 percent.

Vedanta Dividend Record Date

The company had already announced the record date for this dividend. Vedanta had said in the information given to the stock market that the record date for dividend has been fixed as May 30, 2023. That is, any investor whose name will remain in the record book of the company on this day, will get the benefit of dividend.

In the financial year 2022-23, Vedanta had declared dividend 5 times. Last time the company had given a dividend of Rs 20.50 to the investors. For which the record date was fixed as 7 April 2023. In the last financial year, the company had given a total dividend of Rs 101.50 on each share to the qualified investors.
