IMD predicts rainfall in these states for next few days

Amidst the scorching heat in many states including UP-Bihar, an alert for heavy rain has been issued in many states. Apart from this, there is also a warning of hailstorm in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand etc. There is a possibility of rain in the states of South and East for the next five days.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, Cyclone Biparjoy is likely to cross the area of Saurashtra and Kutch on the afternoon of June 15.It is believed that the speed of strong winds can be up to 150 kilometers per hour. The Meteorological Department has told that for the next three to five days, there will be heatwave conditions in the Northwest, East and North states.

It is going to rain very heavily in the states of Northeast for the next five days. Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim will receive light to very heavy rain for the next 48 hours. Talking about North West India, light to moderate rain, lightning and thunderstorm conditions will prevail here for the next five days, except for Uttar Pradesh. Hail is forecast in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand for the next four days. There will be thunderstorms in some parts of Rajasthan on June 15.

Talking about West India, Konkan and Goa will receive heavy rains during the next 24 hours. There is a sign of rain till June 15 due to the cyclone in Gujarat. It is going to rain very heavily in Saurashtra and Kutch areas on June 14 and 15.

For states in South India, as per IMD predictions there may be light to moderate rains for the next five days. There will be heavy rains in Kerala for the next 48 hours. Coastal Karnataka is going to receive heavy rain for the next 24 hours. Heatwave conditions have been observed over Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, South Chhattisgarh and Telangana. In Gujarat, the maximum temperature may increase by four to six degrees Celsius during the next four to five days.
