MRF shares hit Rs 1 lakh: India’s first company to make this record

The shares of MRF i.e. Madras Rubber Factory, the largest tire maker in India, have created history. MRF share price crossed the record mark of one lakh rupees in today’s (June 13) trading session. MRF has become the first company in India to do so.

The stock made an intraday high of Rs 1,00,439.95

The stock also made an intraday and 52 week high of Rs 1,00,439.95 during the trading session. However, MRF shares closed at Rs 99,900, up by Rs 931.45, or 0.94%. Its stock opened at Rs 99,150 at the beginning of the trading session.

MRF stock gained 46% in one year

A day earlier i.e. on Monday (June 12), the MRF stock had closed at Rs 98,939.70. There has been tremendous growth in this stock in the last one year. The stock has gained 46% in one year. MRF shares had touched their 52-week low of 65,900.05 on BSE on 17 June 2022.

MRF’s market cap is 42 thousand crores

MRF Company has a total of 42,41,143 shares, of which 30,60,312 are held by public shareholders. Whereas 11,80,831 shares are held by the promoters of the company. The market capitalization of this company is 42.37 thousand crore rupees.

MRF profit up 162% in Q4FY23

MRF’s results in Q4FY23 ie the fourth quarter (January-March) were excellent. MRF’s standalone profit grew 162% to Rs 410.66 crore in the March quarter. The company’s operating performance has strengthened in the fourth quarter.

The company’s standalone revenue from operations grew 10% year-on-year to Rs 5,725.4 crore. Not only this, the company has also announced a dividend of Rs 169 per share to its investors.
