Uttarakhand weather update: Rain alert for 3 districts including Dehradun

A major update has come out in the Uttarakhand weather forecast. As per the IMD forecast, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain on Sunday in Dehradun, Nainital and Bageshwar in Uttarakhand. Apart from this, light to moderate rain is expected in many areas of Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Champawat, Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh.

Meteorological Center Director Dr. Bikram Singh said that for August 21 and 22, there will be an orange alert in Chamoli, Dehradun, Pauri Garhwal, Bageshwar, Nainital. The weather is expected to be normal again from 23rd. After the warning of the Meteorological Department, the administration has also come on alert mode.

Uttarakhand has recorded a decrease in rainfall in the last two to three days. It was humid in Doon on Saturday as well. It was cloudy in the evening and light rain occurred in some areas. The maximum temperature in Doon was five degrees above normal at 34.4, Pantnagar 35, Mukteshwar 23.9 and New Tehri 26.5 degrees. Lansdowne recorded 24, Laldhang nine, Mussoorie recorded 3.5 mm of rain.
