Uttarakhand weather update: Rainfall forecast for next 3 days

There is a possibility of heavy rains across the state from Tuesday for the next three days. On August 22, the Meteorological Department issued an orange alert for heavy rains in Dehradun, Pauri, Nainital, Tehri and Bageshwar districts. At the same time, a yellow alert for rain has been issued for Haridwar, Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Udham Singh Nagar and Pithoragarh districts.

Director of the Meteorological Center Bikram Singh said, a red alert has been issued for rain in Tehri, Dehradun, Pauri, Bageshwar, Champawat, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar districts on August 23 and 24. Said, there is a possibility of heavy rains in all the areas across the state in these three days.
