Bhajanlal Sharma named the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan

Rajasthan has got a new Chief Minister. BJP has handed over the command of the state to Bhajanlal Sharma. Like Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, BJP surprised everyone with its decision for the post of CM in Rajasthan too. Here too all the predictions of political pundits proved incorrect. No one had thought that BJP would make Bhajanlal Sharma the Chief Minister. But this time too, BJP, assessing the entire political equation, gave a chance to a new face as CM. BJP has declared Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa as Deputy CMs of Rajasthan.

Bhajanlal Sharma represents Sanganer assembly constituency as a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. He also served as the state general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party four times. After the 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election, he was elected as the MLA from Sanganer Assembly constituency. He secured his position by defeating Congress candidate Pushpendra Bhardwaj by a margin of 48,081 votes.
