Preparations for UKGIS 2023; MoUs worth up to Rs 3 lakh crore signed

Preparations for Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit have been completed. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami is constantly taking stock of the arrangements himself. In this sequence, on Thursday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the FRI campus, the venue of the program. Where CM Dhami inspected the entire venue and also reached the main venue and saw all the presentations. Also observed the cultural presentation to be held during the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The venue of this program being organized at FRI has been prepared grandly. Also, the venue has been decorated with many quintals of flowers. Overall, all the preparations at the venue have been completed. In such a situation, now Uttarakhand is waiting for investors coming from India and abroad. According to the scheduled program, on December 8, PM Narendra Modi will reach the venue at around 10:30 am and then inaugurate the program. After staying for about two to two and a half hours, PM Modi will leave for Delhi at around 1 o’clock.

At the same time, CM Dhami said that the Investors Summit is a big opportunity for Uttarakhand. After the Investors Summit within the state, there will be rapid development in the investment sector. Besides, this summit is also very important from the point of view of employment generation. MoUs worth up to Rs 3 lakh crore have been signed, surpassing the target set by the state government. However, the state government is trying not to limit it only to MOU. Rather, it will also be brought to the ground. Therefore, till now an investment of more than Rs 40 thousand crore has come on the ground.
