Market closed with gains, Nifty nears 22,050

Indian Stock Market closed with slight gains today. Today on Monday, Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) index Sensex closed at 72748.42 with a gain of 104.99 points. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) index Nifty closed at 22055.70 with a rise of 32.35 points.

Shares of auto, metallic commodities and healthcare sectors have seen a rise in the first trading day of the week. At the same time, there has been a decline in the stocks of IT and tech sector.

Rupee fell 4 paise against dollar

On Monday, due to strengthening in crude oil prices, the rupee fell by 4 paise and closed at 82.90 against the dollar.
