Schools to remain closed on 10 July in Dehradun & Nainital due to heavy rain forecast

In many districts of Uttarakhand, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rains for the next three days. In view of this, all schools and Anganwadi centers from class one to 12 in Dehradun, Uttarkashi and Nainital will remain closed. One day (July 10) holiday has been declared in Uttarkashi and Dehradun and a three-day holiday in Nainital from July 10 to 13.

Dehradun District Magistrate Sonika told that all government and non-government schools from class one to 12th will remain closed. According to the DM, the schools and colleges whose examination schedules have been announced earlier for today will be able to conduct the examination as per the pre-determined schedule. Apart from these, there will be holiday in all schools.
