Tourist tempo traveler meets with accident in Nainital district
A major road accident has taken place in Ghatgarh area of Nainital district. Where the tempo traveler with tourists went out of control and fell into a deep gorge. Two female tourists reportedly died in the unfortunate accident. While 20 tourists have been injured. All the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital. The cause of the accident is said to be brake failure of the tempo traveler.
The tempo traveler of tourists who had come to visit Nainital from Noida, UP, fell into a deep gorge due to brake failure in Ghatgarh area on Sunday. The local people immediately informed the police about the incident and started the task of rescuing the injured by descending into the gorge. After some time, police and SDRF team also reached the spot and started the rescue operation. Police and SDRF rescued the injured from the accident site and admitted them to the nearest community health centre. Where some injured are undergoing treatment and some have been referred to other hospitals. Two tourists died in the accident.
At present, all the injured have been taken out of the gorge and admitted to the hospital.
