Boulder falls on a taxi on the Nainital-Haldwani road
The torrential rain that has been falling for the last two days in the state has caused widespread damage especially in the mountains. A taxi vehicle near Aam Parao on Haldwani road of the city got hit by a boulder that fell from the hill. Fortunately, the taxi driver and the passenger narrowly escaped in the accident. The police have sent the two people who were slightly injured to Haldwani for treatment.
According to the information, a worker posted in the Health Department in Dehradun, was coming to Nainital High Court on Tuesday in taxi vehicle for some work when the accident occurred.
A giant boulder fell on the bonnet of the car from the hill
The vehicle had just reached near Aam Parao on Nainital Haldwani road when suddenly a giant boulder came from the hill. The driver tried to escape, but the boulder hit the bonnet of the vehicle. Fortunately, both of them did not get much injury in the accident. But after the accident, a long queue of vehicles was formed on the road.
