According to reports, a bus met with an accident at Shilapani in the Bhikiyasain area of Almora. The bus fell into a gorge. Seven people died in the accident. Twelve other passengers on board were injured.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the administration and rescue teams reached the spot. The injured were rescued and admitted to the hospital for medical assistance.
According to officials, there were a total of 19 passengers on the bus. The cause of the accident is being investigated. It is suspected that the accident occurred due to the driver losing control of the vehicle. The deceased include five men and two women.
