ITC becomes India’s 7th listed company to cross ₹6 lakh crore market cap
Indian Tobacco Company i.e. ITC Limited today became the 7th listed company in India to cross the market capitalization of Rs 6 lakh crore. So far this year i.e. in 2023, ITC shares have seen an increase of more than 48%.
ITC share made new all time high
On Thursday (July 20), ITC shares closed at Rs 491.50, up 2.64%, its all-time closing high. At the same time, during the trading, the company’s stock has also made its new all-time record high of Rs 493.70.
ITC’s market cap is Rs 6.13 lakh crore
With this, the market capitalization of the company has increased to Rs 6.13 lakh crore. The stock of the company has increased by about 10% in the last one month and about 45% in 6 months. On the other hand, talking about the last one year, its stock has seen a rise of about 65%.
Reliance is the largest company in the country in terms of market cap
Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever (HUL) and Infosys are companies with a market capitalization of more than Rs 6 lakh crore before ITC Limited, a company that does business from FMCG, cigarettes to hotels and paper.
In this case, Reliance Industries is on top with a market cap of Rs 17.71 lakh crore. After this, HDFC Bank is at number two, its market cap is Rs 12.73 lakh crore. At the same time, Tata Group’s IT company TCS is at number three with a market cap of Rs 12.66 lakh crore.
