Drones spraying water to combat air pollution in Rishikesh
On the occasion of Deepawali, Municipal Corporation Rishikesh, with the courtesy of Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board, is sprinkling water through drones in the Municipal Corporation Office premises and Government Hospital Rishikesh. This work will be done for three days.
This activity is being organized under the National Clean Air Program. The National Clean Air Program is a national program run to improve the purity and quality of air.

Shailendra Singh Negi, Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Rishikesh has informed that apart from this, Municipal Corporation Rishikesh is spraying water at the main square intersection and crowded places of the city through sprinkler machine at its own level.
This machine throws water in the form of spray up to a height of about 40 to 50 meters, which helps in removing dust particles and other smoke etc. from the atmosphere.
