Long traffic queues seen as tourists throng to tourist hotspots in Doon

As soon as summer starts, tourists start flocking to Dehradun’s tourist spots. Especially on holidays and weekends, tourists are visiting in large numbers. Due to which people are also facing traffic jams.

On Sunday, over 7000 tourists reached Guchhupani (Robbers cave) for picnic and there is a long queue of vehicles from Garhi Cantt to Guchhupani. Tourist vehicles crawled into Guchhupani. During this time, people living nearby also had to get stuck in the jam. In the evening, after the crowd of tourists reduced, the jam was completely cleared.

With the start of summer tourism, a large number of tourists have started coming and going in the city these days. As per reports, on Sunday, about two thousand tourists reached Sahasradhara, nearly 1500 in Lacchiwala and over 7000 in Guchhupani.
