CISCE also postpones 10th and 12th board exams

In view of the dangers of Corona virus infection across the country, the central government has taken strict steps. All the board examinations taking place during this period have also been canceled and will be rescheduled later. In this sequence, after the CBSE, now the ICSE Board has also postponed the examinations.

The CISCE Board has postponed the 10th and 12th board examinations till 31 March. Board officials have said that these examinations will be conducted after 31 March after review.

Instructions have been issued by the CEO of the board to schools affiliated to the CISCE i.e. Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination. According to these instructions, examinations from 19 March to 31 March have been postponed due to the danger of corona.

The board has taken these steps as a precaution. At the same time, CBSE also decided to postpone all their exams on Wednesday evening. At the same time, this decision was taken by CISC on Thursday.

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) chief executive Gerry Arathoon said the examinations have been postponed to 31 March. Earlier, it was said that the board examinations of ICSE have not been postponed, the examinations will continue as per the schedule.

CBSE board examinations also postponed

CBSE has postponed the examinations of class 10 and class 12 till March 31 in view of the increasing dangers of coronavirus. The board has said that these exams will be rescheduled after March 31. CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi said that the CBSE exams released in India and abroad are postponed till 31 March. It will be determined again after the assessment of the situation. He said that the ongoing evaluation work will also be suspended during this period.

The announcement by CBSE and ICSE came after the Human Resource Development Ministry directive in which it said that examinations are necessary but the safety of students and teachers is equally important. Following this instruction, the CBSE had decided to postpone the examinations. This news has brought great relief to the students and parents.
