CNG becomes expensive again in Delhi-NCR, prices increased for the second time in 2 days

CNG prices have been increased again today in Delhi-NCR cities. This is the second increase in two days. With this latest hike, CNG prices in Delhi have crossed ₹80.09 per kilogram.

CNG prices in Delhi and adjoining areas like Noida and Ghaziabad were increased by ₹1 per kilogram on Sunday morning. Consequently, the price of CNG per kilogram in Delhi will be ₹80.09. In Noida and Ghaziabad, the price of CNG per kilogram will be ₹88.70. This is the second increase in CNG prices in the last two days. Previously, on May 15th, CNG prices were increased by ₹2 per kilogram.

Petrol and diesel prices were increased by ₹3.

On Friday, petrol and diesel prices were also increased by ₹3 per liter. The price of petrol in the capital has increased from Rs 94.77 to Rs 97.77 per liter. Diesel is now priced at Rs 90.67 per liter from Rs 87.67. This is the first increase in petrol and diesel prices in the last four years. This increase has been made amid increasing losses of oil marketing companies due to rising global crude oil prices. This increase has been made at a time when the government is taking measures to reduce fuel consumption and control the country’s oil import costs.
