Why do earthquakes occur?
There are 7 tectonic plates inside our earth. These plates keep rotating in their place continuously. However, these plates sometimes collide on the fault line, which creates friction. The energy released from this friction finds a way out. This is the reason why earthquakes are seen on the surface.
