Magnitude 4 Earthquake jolts Delhi-NCR

Strong tremors of earthquake were felt in Delhi-NCR this morning (February 17). The earthquake occurred at 5:36 am. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), an organization that records earthquakes under the Ministry of Earth Sciences of the Government of India, its intensity was measured at 4.0.

The American organization – USGS also confirmed the earthquake in Delhi-NCR. According to it, more than 280 people reported earthquake tremors in the early hours of Monday. After the tremors in the earth, the earthquake was also confirmed by seismologists.

The National Center for Seismology gave information on the earthquake tremors in Delhi-NCR. The epicenter of the earthquake was close to the national capital New Delhi.

The intensity of the earthquake that occurred at 5:36 am is being reported to be 4. The damage caused by it is not yet known.
