Kainchi Dham Mela 2026: Vehicles to Be Diverted, Dedicated Parking and Shuttle Services Arranged

The police administration has issued a detailed traffic plan for the annual Kainchi Dham Foundation Day Fair, effective from June 13 to June 16. Separate parking and shuttle arrangements have been established for pilgrims arriving from other states, the Kumaon division, and local areas.

Traffic Plan for Pilgrims Arriving from Other States/Districts

• Vehicles bound for Kainchi Dham from Dehradun, Haridwar, NCR, Delhi, and Moradabad (via Ramnagar/Kaladhungi) will be routed from Nayagaon T-junction via Nainital T-junction, RTO Road T-junction, and Panchayat Ghar T-junction to Bareilly Road Teenpani T-junction, and then towards Gaulapar-Kathgodam. Shuttle services will be available from this point.
• Vehicles arriving via Rampur Road will be diverted at the Sugarcane Center (Ganna Center) and Sheetal Hotel towards Gaulapar-Kathgodam via Bareilly Road Teenpani T-junction. Pilgrims will proceed from there using shuttle services.
• Vehicles arriving from the Bareilly Road direction will be directed from Teenpani T-junction towards Gaulapar-Kathgodam. Pilgrims will proceed from there using shuttle services.
• Pilgrims arriving by Roadways buses or trains will be transported to Kainchi Dham via shuttle services from the Haldwani Roadways Bus Station or the Kathgodam Railway Station.

Plan for Pilgrims Arriving from Various Areas of Nainital District

• Vehicles bound for Kainchi Dham from Ramnagar and Kaladhungi will be routed from Nayagaon T-junction via Nainital T-junction, Lamachaur, RTO Road T-junction, Panchayat Ghar T-junction, and Bareilly Road Teenpani T-junction towards Gaulapar, Kathgodam (Nariman T-junction), and then towards Bhimtal. These vehicles will be parked at Vikas Bhawan, Bhimtal, and pilgrims will be transported to the destination via shuttle services.
