Power disruption in Haldwani from June 9 to June 19, these areas will be affected

In view of the monsoon, Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited has decided to carry out the work of pruning trees near power lines in TP Nagar, Phool Chaur and Futkuan areas. Due to this work, power supply will be disrupted from June 9 to June 19. The schedule for June 14 has not been decided yet. More than 15,000 consumers will be affected during this period.

The Electricity Department has also fixed the time for power cuts. On June 9, there will be no power from the Phool Chaur power house from 9 am to 5 pm. On June 10, power will be off in different areas of TP Nagar from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm. Work will be done on the power lines of Phool Chaur and TP Nagar from June 11 to 16. Power will be cut in the Futkuan area from June 17 to 19 from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Executive Engineer Begraj Singh said that during the rainy season, trees growing near power lines cause problems in power supply. Therefore, this pruning is necessary so that there is no problem in electricity.

Affected areas: Dhanpuri, Sangam Vihar, Panchayat Ghar, Bel baba, Khanna Farm, Talli Haldwani, FTI, Judge Farm, Dewalchaud, Sugarcane Center and surrounding areas.
