Haridwar and Nainital also added to red zones in Uttarakhand
80 percent cases reported from Dehradun, Haridwar and Nainital districts of Uttarakhand
As the nation awaits lifting of the lockdown, the number of corona positive cases in Uttarakhand is on the rise. Haridwar district has been declared a red zone after the Corona report of two people, including a woman, came positive on Saturday. Along with this, Nainital has also been included in the Red Zone. At the same time, Dehradun was already declared a Red Zone after the twenty patients were found positive in the district since the outbreak of the pandemic. The number of corona positive patients in Uttarakhand till date is 42.

Additional Secretary Health, Yugal Kishore Pant said that the state has been divided into three zones based on corona infected cases. So far, 80 percent of the total corona virus cases have been reported in Dehradun, Nainital and Haridwar. Therefore all three districts are included in the Red Zone. At the same time, Udham Singh Nagar, Almora and Pauri have been included in the Orange Zone. The other seven districts are included in the Green Zone.
