The three-day Nayar Valley Adventure Festival 2026, to be held from February 26th to 28th in the Satpuli-Bilkhet area of Pauri district, is bringing a unique blend of adventure, courage, and culture. All preparations for the event have been completed by the administration and related departments. There is an atmosphere of excitement in the region regarding the festival. To ensure the festival’s success, a two-day trial is being held on February 23rd and 24th. During the trial, all aspects related to safety standards, technical systems, equipment functionality, and participant comfort are being thoroughly tested to ensure no inconvenience or risk arises during the main event. The administration has given top priority to security arrangements. District Magistrate Swati Bhadauria stated that adventure activities such as paragliding, kayaking, MTB mountain biking, para-motorizing, angling, and hot air ballooning will be the centerpieces of the three-day festival. The thrill of these activities, set amidst the natural beauty of the Nayar Valley, will provide participants with a unique experience.
Apart from this, in the cultural programs, folk songs, folk dances and cultural presentations will be given by local artists, which will provide a platform to the rich folk culture of the region. The District Magistrate informed that necessary guidelines have been given to all the departments regarding Nayar Valley Adventure Festival and arrangements have been ensured. She asked the general public, especially the youth, to participate in maximum numbers and enjoy the adventure activities. She said that this event will give a new impetus to the tourism activities in the district. Besides, people associated with self-employment, hotel and homestay operators, handicraftsmen and businessmen will also benefit. This festival will not only become a platform for adventure but will also strengthen the local economy.
