According to the released schedule, candidates are required to report for physical verification on July 20, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Subsequently, the main counseling and seat allocation process will commence on July 21, 2026, at 10:30 AM. He informed that admission would be granted based on JEE (Main)-2026 merit scores across the following branches: Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Gambhir Singh Kathait, Counseling Coordinator and Assistant Professor in the Department of Instrumentation Engineering, stated that all necessary administrative preparations have been completed to ensure the counseling process runs smoothly and transparently.

A guidance desk will be set up on the campus to assist students arriving from remote areas, ensuring they face no difficulties regarding document verification or the selection of seat options. The Dean mentioned that candidates participating in the counseling must bring all original academic certificates, documents related to reservation or category, self-attested copies thereof, and recent passport-sized photographs. He clarified that following seat allocation, candidates must deposit the admission fee online by 3:00 PM on July 22, 2026. Failure to deposit the fee within the stipulated timeframe will result in the automatic cancellation of the allocated seat.

In view of the monsoon and the unpredictable conditions of the mountain routes in the Garhwal region, Professor M.M.S. Rauthan has appealed to candidates and their guardians to plan their travel in advance and arrive in Srinagar Garhwal at least one day prior to the reporting date, so as to avoid any last-minute difficulties caused by landslides or other factors.
