For Bangalore, Rajat Patidar scored an unbeaten century of 112 runs in 54 balls with the help of 12 fours and 7 sixes. Apart from him Dinesh Karthik scored 37 not out and Virat Kohli scored 25 runs. Patidar has become the first uncapped player to score a century in the playoffs. Patidar and Karthik shared an unbeaten partnership of 92 runs for the fifth wicket.
The winning team of this match will face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the second qualifier. The team winning this match will advance to Qualifier 2, while the losing team’s journey will end in the tournament. The winner of the match between Bangalore and Lucknow will face Rajasthan Royals on May 27 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The winner of Qualifier 2 will face Gujarat Titans in the final on May 29.
