India win first test against Bangladesh by innings and 130 runs

India wrapped up the first test against Bangladesh inside 3 days to take a 1-0 lead in the 2 match test series. Team India won the match by an innings and 130 runs. One match of the series is yet to be played. The second and last Test match will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata from 22 November. This test match will be played in day-night format. This historic test match will begin at 1 pm local time.

Batting first after winning the toss in the Indore Test, Bangladesh’s team collapsed for 150 runs in the first innings. In response, India declared an innings by scoring 493 runs for 6 wickets in their first innings. India declared their innings on the morning of day 3. Opener Mayank Agarwal scored a double hundred in consecutive series. He got good support from Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and Ravinder Jadeja after the hosts were in a sport of bother losing opener Rohit Sharma and skipper Virat Kohli in single digits.
