Mumbai Indians march to sixth IPL final

In the first qualifier match of IPL 2020, Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by 57 runs and made it to the finals this season. This is the sixth time in IPL history, when the MI team will play a title match.

Chasing the target of 201 runs from Mumbai, Delhi lost the match by scoring 143-8 runs in 20 overs. Fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah, who was the hero of Mumbai’s victory, took 4 wickets. At the same time, Ishan Kishan played an unbeaten 55 and Suryakumar Yadav scored 51 runs in batting.

Jaspreet Bumrah declared man of the match

Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah showed why he is not just MI but India’s premiear bowler. He has given his team the ticket to the finals courtesy 4 wickets for just 14 runs. This is Bumrah’s best bowling performance in IPL. For which he was also elected Man of the Match.

Mumbai Indians in the final for the sixth time

In the first qualifier match, the Mumbai Indians team defeated Delhi Capitals by 57 runs in a one sided match  to make it to the final of IPL 13. This is the sixth time when the Mumbai Indians has reached the final. Delhi Capitals meanwhile will have another shot to go in the finals as they will take on the winner between RCB and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
